DARA OF JASENOVAC

During the course of the World War II, the Independent State of Croatia, led by the fascist
Ustase government, established a chain of concentration camps known as Jasenovac, in order to murder Serbs, Jews and Roma people in territory it controlled. It was the only such extermination camp run by non-Germans in Europe. Jasenovac included concentration camps exclusively for children.
